As a results-driven and strategic professional, I have extensive experience in leading global biocompatibility efforts at medical device companies, with a proven track record of achieving successful regulatory approvals and product launches, improving delivery quality and time, and building strong working relationships with internal and external partners. Additionally, I am a thought leader with a keen eye for anticipating industry trends and unmet needs, driving innovation in product development and compliance strategies. My areas of expertise include risk assessment, regulatory compliance, biocompatibility evaluation, and materials engineering. As a high achiever, I am capable of exceeding your expectations by providing risk-based technical solutions, strong people management skills, and organizational leadership to the technical service group of subject matter experts (SMEs) in biocompatibility, materials technology, and substance/environmental compliance. Furthermore, I maximize performance efficiency by continuously improving workflow in an agile Kanban methodology, develop and implement business processes, project trackers, resource estimating and planning techniques and tools, and metrics for group performance management. I have delivered promised outcomes to various programs driven by cross-functional teams in medical device companies and built high-performing global technical service groups by restructuring global resources and formalizing work processes. I have also launched two new laboratories - one in St. Paul, MN (Abbott) and another in Bella Vista, Australia (ResMed) and invented, implemented, and managed the production of a polymer-based artificial artery testing model at St. Jude Medical.
