I am a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, where I manage pharmacy interns and technicians, and ensure patient safety and satisfaction. I graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2022, after completing my bachelor's degree in chemistry from University of West Georgia in 2016. In my current role, I enter, prepare, and verify prescriptions in accordance with prescribers' instructions, with an average daily prescription count of 500-650. I also maintain and update prescription records, administrative tasks, drug inventory, and regulatory documents. I counsel and advise patients about potential side effects, drug interactions, or noted documentation from providers about medications, and provide recommendations for over-the-counter products and immunizations. I have developed strong skills in prescription drugs, hospital pharmacy, and patient counseling, and I am certified in CPR, AED, HIPPA, and immunization. I am passionate about providing quality care and education to my patients, and I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team of pharmacy professionals.
