About Eunike Mutiara

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and lecturer with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and couples through life’s psychological and relational challenges. My professional path bridges practice and academia—I currently serve as an associate clinical psychologist at Breakthrough For Life Center (Jakarta Adult Psychology Center & Jakarta Children's Growth Center), a co-founder of Experiencing Life Foundation, and a part-time lecturer at Universitas Pelita Harapan and Sampoerna University. I specialize in clinical work related to adjustment issues, trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well as marriage and family dynamics. I hold a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from The University of Queensland, where my research examined collective memory, social identity, and the psychosocial narratives of violence in Indonesian history. In addition to clinical work, I am deeply engaged in teaching and research. I have taught undergraduate and executive psychology courses in general, social, and abnormal psychology, and contributed to curriculum development in psychology programs. My academic work has been presented at international conferences, including SPSP and ISPP, and published in journals such as Peace and Conflict and Journal of Current Southeast Asian Affairs. I am passionate about bridging clinical practice with research and community education, frequently speaking at seminars on mental health, parenting, and relationships. With professional affiliations spanning Indonesia and Australia, I continuously seek ways to integrate psychological science with real-world impact. Whether through therapy, teaching, or public engagement, my goal is to foster understanding, resilience, and healing across individuals and communities.
