About Eureta Rosenberg

Researcher, educator and academic dean, passionate about People and Planet. 35 years guiding the education of young people and environmental professionals and the strategies, organisations, research and evaluation we need to reorient to fairness for All including the more-than-human Life on Earth. Transdisciplinary and transformative research methodology is an enduring interest. Drawing on my academic and strategy experience I lead the Education Faculty at Rhodes University as academic dean. Thus I continue to learn about organisational strategy and human resource development, and strive for ways in which to evaluate and improve our work, without getting stuck in narrow performance monitoring. Throughout, I search with fellow scholars for more generative and ethical ways in which to research and engage with the world, and I write about, design and offer courses in transformative research and evaluation. I am the South African Country Co-Director for the TRANSECTS programme in which scholars and practitioners from Canada, South Africa and Germany collaborate to expand higher education support for trans-disciplinary research and practice.
