I am an experienced Evaluation Specialist and Development Economist with over 14 years dedicated to strategic evaluations in international development. My expertise lies in leading transformative evaluations that drive organizational learning and influence strategic decision-making. I have worked extensively in Low-Income, Middle-Income, and Upper Middle-Income countries across Africa. In my current role at the African Development Bank Group, I specialize in Power, Energy, Climate Change, and Green Growth, as well as Private Sector, Infrastructure, Industrialization, and Regional Integration Evaluations. My background as an Economist allows me to bring a unique perspective to these evaluations, ensuring that economic principles and methodologies are integrated into the analysis. I am adept at leveraging advanced evaluation methodologies such as Impact Evaluation, OECD/DAC framework, and geospatial data analysis. Additionally, I utilize digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to enhance evaluation design and analysis through prompt engineering and structured content analysis. Previously, I served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), a leading Economic Research Think Tank, where I led evidence-based economic research on socio-economic and development issues in Nigeria and Africa. I also have experience working with the Nigerian government and in academia, enhancing my ability to approach development challenges from multiple perspectives.
