Before I begin, in a nut shell, my passion is to ASSESS > COLLABORATE > TAKE ACTION. I am currently working in acute inpatient care. It is a privilege to work in a dynamic environment that offers constant, continuous learning. Assisting patients to stand for the first time after suffering a traumatic event, working with the medical doctors, having access to the full team of health care professionals, while helping patients and their families navigate the healthcare system is very rewarding.~In my previous role as Lead Physiotherapist at The Movement Company, I provided sports injury and chronic pain management services to a diverse clientele, using an active and evidence-based approach. I also developed and delivered workshops and webinars on pain prevention and wellness for various organizations. I successfully built a loyal client base through effective networking and marketing strategies, showcasing my ability to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.~While working as a Research Assistant at McGill University School of Physical & Occupational Therapy, I contributed to a national knowledge-translation study on improving how physiotherapy students across Canada learn about chronic pain management. This role has honed my ability to work remotely on various projects with professors and masters students across Canada.~I have a Masters of Applied Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Anatomy, minor in Human Nutrition from McGill University, and I am certified in personal training. I have over 7 years of self-employment experience, which has taught me marketing, time management, community building, and leadership skills, as well bookkeeping.
