I have a humanistic and linguistic background, with a great passion for writing and foreign languages. After a master's degree in Oriental Languages ​​and Literatures (Chinese), study experience in Beijing and project work in Canton, I started working as an interpreter/translator for business projects in China and as a commercial backoffice.In 2008, my knowledge of Chinese led me to apply to Savio Macchine Tessili, as the company has the main export markets in Asia. That's how I had the opportunity to start working in the Communications office, dealing with content writing, press office and trade fair organization. Today, after 16+ years, I am Marketing and Communications Manager at Savio. It was a path of growth and training-on-the-job that allowed me to acquire skills on the product, communication, media relations, B2B event organization and strategic planning.Working in the textile machinery sector, I have become increasingly passionate about the textile world in general, discovering how much technology there is behind the production of a t-shirt, a pair of jeans, a wool sweater. It is always so exciting to visit customers and discover how the most precious yarns and fabrics are created and crafted.Currently, I plan, coordinate and manage internal and external communication. My team deals with press office, advertising campaigns, commercial and institutional communication, digital communication on the website and social media. The main activities include the management and development of brand identity and strategic communication of products and services (product marketing). I take care of the creation of photographic services, corporate videos and graphic and digital projects.A significant part of my work involves the organization of B2B fairs and events, managing the event at 360°: registrations, concept and fair installations, technical compliance, logistical organization, coordination of the various company departments for the success of the event, promotional, graphic and advertising material for the event.The role requires a practical and creative mindset, diplomacy, communication skills, problem solving, willingness to travel and the ability to work in a multitasking, multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. It is stimulating to be able to work in close collaboration with communication agencies, creative professionals, regional sales teams, product R&D teams, design teams and with the marketing functions of the group.
