About Eva Chapman

I am a Security Administrator at Dragos, Inc, a leading provider of industrial cybersecurity solutions. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking and Cyber Security from University of Maryland University College, and I hold two Microsoft certifications: AZ-900 and SC-900 and the ISC2 CC certification. My core competencies include vulnerability management, system configuration, policy and standards development, and security assessment. In my current role, I develop and implement security controls to protect assets across a large and complex environment, operate vulnerability scanners, consult with internal teams on architecture and system designs, and assist TechOps with solving trouble tickets related to security operations. I also work closely with IT and security SMEs to improve Dragos' security posture, perform security assessments and deliver findings to leadership, participate in security incident investigations and prepare incident response reports, and seek and implement detective controls across all enterprise platforms. I am motivated by the mission of Dragos to safeguard civilization from cyber threats, and I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in mathematics and economics, and I have worked as a senior information technology administrator and a senior system administrator in different industries.
