About Eva Davis

I am a 2023 college graduate, and I am currently serving with AmeriCorps in a local government fellowship position with the Buncombe County, North Carolina County Manager’s Office. My educational background is in Political Science and Criminal Justice. I took particular interest throughout my studies in governmental ethics, human rights, and constitutional structure & law. My professional and educational background has allowed me to develop research and analytical skills. In my current position with AmeriCorps, I have had the opportunity to serve a local government in Western North Carolina and expand the capacity of several of their departments. The departments include Equity and Human Rights, Behavioral Health, and Strategic Planning. In my previous professional experience, I worked with diverse groups of individuals providing homelessness support services to rural communities in Western North Carolina and supported many campaigns and programming-related activities. Through these experiences, I have developed the ability to work well with diverse groups of individuals and grow an interest in public engagement and public-facing roles.
