As the Academic and Accessibility Support Coordinator at Jessup, I am dedicated to facilitating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. In this role, I serve as the designated disability specialist and 504 coordinator, overseeing accommodations and support services tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities and those identified as at-risk. My responsibilities include managing student caseloads, delivering academic and executive functioning assistance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. As the Director of Dual Credit, I am committed to fostering successful partnerships between Jessup and high schools for college credit programs. I coordinate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless engagement and nurturing positive relationships. Additionally, I provide support for procedural aspects to optimize student services and enhance the overall educational experience. In both capacities, I prioritize collaboration, student advocacy, and continuous improvement to empower all students to achieve their academic goals. Successfully completing my certification for career services allows me to serve our students with career exploration. Providing them the resources and tools to identify a career pathway boosts their confidence to engage in career development. Identifying strengths, aptitude, skills and traits assists with finding a good fit in the workforce upon graduation. Jessup strives to ensure our students are exceptionally employable!
