About Eva Hsu

My name is Eva Hsu. I’m now a master student taking the program of Chemical Science and Instrumentation at Nanyang Technological University. My research topic is “SERS-Based Detection for Toxic Gas and Liquid” and learned knowledge related to nanoscience. I have finished my bachelor degree at National Taipei University of Technology studying Molecular Sciences and Engineering. My final year project is “Synthesis and spectra analysis of tetrazole-based derivative ligand and its Iron(II) coordination complex”. During Lab experience, I practiced the abilities of problem solving, critical thinking and literature reviewing. I also managed to accrue nearly 1 year of work experience in order to gain an insight of each industry and know better of how to implement knowledge in each industry. I’m having half year of work experience doing inhouse clinical research associate in Labcorp and 5 months of work experience as an engineer in Compal. During internship, my responsibilities are supporting team member with the projects, reviewing the reports, and organizing the documents. Other than learning, I attended school’s dance crew as my interest. In the second year of joining the crew, I became the secretory and took the responsibilities of organizing and archiving the documents over the years, and communicating with school with the activities. I also participated the club evaluation on behalf of the club to present the activities, achievements and documentation, and won the first prize.
