Upon completing my Honours degree in Human Resource Management & Business at the University of the West of Scotland, I am eager to apply my theoretical knowledge in a practical career setting. Achieving a First-class certification, I aim to gain industry insights to enhance my skills in effective people management. Building upon my Bachelor’s degree, where I achieved a 2.1 grade, I expanded my expertise through intensive research in various Human Resources topics. Supported by citations from The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Advisory, Conciliation, and Arbitration Service (ACAS), and the International Standardisation Organisation (ISO), alongside relevant Scottish and UK legislation, my knowledge base has significantly broadened. In my role at Company Shop, overseeing customer service operations, I demonstrate strong planning, coordination, and administrative skills, ensuring smooth operations during peak periods through cross-departmental collaboration. Similarly, at Bridgewater Housing Association, I efficiently managed both physical and digital files remotely, ensuring GDPR compliance and enhancing team efficiency with my proficiency in Microsoft Office. These experiences have enhanced my ability to manage complex tasks and contribute effectively to the organisation. During lockdown, I excelled academically with A grades in HNC and HND Business Management, alongside positive results in my Highers.
