About Eva Lu

I am certified as a licensed acupuncturist nationally and by the California Acupuncture Board. Having life-long exposure to both Chinese herbology and Western medicine, I am an advocate of providing preventative and palliative care medicine. I am a partner in my patients’ healthcare and believe in tailoring treatment to their specific lifestyle. I specialize in pain management, internal medicine, orthopedics, and geriatrics. My other interests in practice include food therapy, needle-free alternatives to acupuncture, and cosmetic acupuncture. While at the esteemed Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, I completed my clinical externship rotations at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center (formerly San Diego Cancer Center), Downtown Seniors Clinic at First Lutheran Church, Integrative Health Nights community clinic, and San Diego Veteran's Stand Down. I am continuing my studies in Japanese-style acupuncture and herbology. In addition, I have also studied the applications of acupuncture and tui na in orthopedic and sports-related issues with respected practitioners at AcuSport Health Center.
