About Eva Meyer

My inner work drive, passion for a sustainable future and creative problem-solving spirit has made me a reliable GIS- and remote sensing consultant. Previous outcomes of these qualities are linked below. My language skills, in English and Swedish, have developed throughout studies and working experiences. Writing scientific and bureaucratic reports comes from my five years at Stockholm University and my time at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. Communicating popular science to various age groups, whether it is in writing or presentations, as I worked as a communicator at the Bolin Centre for Climate Research followed by freelancing thanks to a stipend from Hasselbladstiftelsen. I have used laser, radar, and hyperspectral data during my master. Also, multiple GIS- and remote sensing programs (ArcGIS, QGIS, SNAP, ENVI, etc) and programming in R as well as basics in Python. GIS and remote sensing in relation to landscape ecology is where I thrive. Furthermore, I have developed a sense for efficiently acquiring information to understand and apply new methods in a project. Most previously at Metria I showed this as well as how I am a positive colleague who is glad to cooperate. I am now searching for a place where I can apply my technical skills and take on new challenges. I am as a driven and creative problem-solver with lots to learn – which I look forward to.
