A highly accomplished and proactive Finance Director/CFO with extensive experience leading and developing successful teams across diverse international settings, particularly within the EU5 markets. My expertise spans strategic business development, financial planning & analysis (FP & A), controlling, internal audit, ERP implementation, and large-scale transformation and restructuring programs. I possess a holistic view of business, combining financial acumen with a strong people-centric approach. My leadership style is collaborative and results-oriented, enhanced by formal coaching certification. Currently, I´m a Global Senior Business Partner at AstraZeneca within their Respiratory and Immunology therapeutic area, where I provided comprehensive financial management support. My responsibilities included leading the 10-year long-term planning process, preparing business cases, partnering with R&D and global brand teams to align financial investments and sales projections, delivering insightful monthly performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with annual controls and external audits. I also oversaw the monthly close process in collaboration with the Global Finance Services (GFS) team in Poland. I am fluent in Spanish, English, and French, with a working knowledge of Portuguese. My education includes a post-degree from IESE Business School.
