Background
About Eva Platz Walker
I recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a major in English and a minor in Criminal Justice & Criminology. My interdisciplinary education has equipped me with strong analytical, research, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the structural, cultural, and legal factors that shape the criminal justice system. I am currently serving as both an intern and front desk staff at Cabrini Green Legal Aid, a nonprofit organization committed to dismantling barriers to equity and justice for individuals impacted by the legal system. In this role, I provide direct client support, contribute to administrative operations, and gain hands-on experience with legal advocacy and reentry services. I’m passionate about the intersections of law, psychology, and social justice, and I plan to pursue graduate studies in forensic psychology or a related field. I’m especially interested in working with system-impacted individuals and using research and advocacy to advance equitable reform.
