About Eva Seger

I'm newly graduated from the University of Southern Maine with an English degree and a certificate in Public and Professional Writing. I'm entering the technical writing field with high hopes to continue learning and growing-nothing is better than work that keeps me thinking! My whole life is colored by language. I write for school, I write for fun, and all I want is to write professionally to make the world a better place. Even my non-writing hobbies are linguistic-I'm an avid reader with an interest in programming, and I love the challenge of foreign languages. My favorite job so far is probably my time working as a Learning Assistant in a technical writing class, working with the professor and a great team of fellow LAs to support students of all walks of life in an asynchronous learning environment. As I said, I'm currently looking for a job to grow and learn in. I'm a strong believer that writing can change the world, even in the most mundane of circumstances. If we're not here to make people's lives better, what are we here for?
