About Eva Sengupta

As an HR Leader with more than 10 years of experience, I am passionate about creating a positive and productive work environment for my team and the organization. I currently work as an Assistant Manager HR at Varthana, a leading provider of education financing solutions in India, where I leverage my expertise in talent acquisition, HR business partnership, and performance management to support the growth and development of the Central, West, and North zones. In my role, I lead a team of four direct reportees and oversee the end-to-end employee life cycle management, from recruitment to exit. I also collaborate with the stakeholders and the senior management to align the HR strategies and policies with the business goals and vision. Some of my key achievements include implementing HR modules, developing competency mapping tools, and facilitating lean six sigma and CRM trainings to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR processes and the customer service. I have been recognized with two promotions and the Team of the Quarter award for my contributions and achievements. I am motivated by the mission of Varthana to transform the education sector in India and empower the students and teachers to achieve their potential.
