About Eva Venken
For the past four years, I have worked at the minor English language and Culture at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven where I have taught communicative English at B2 and C1 CEFR-level. I also substituted at the Fontys teacher training programme in Sittard. In addition, I was involved in the development of a new minor in Film Education. This minor is a collaboration between Fontys and Landelijk Netwerk Filmeducatie and successfully finished its pilot in February 2023. Ever since, the minor has educated approximately 140 students in the medium film. My role within the minor was that of coordinator. As a teacher, I aspire to motivate and engage students by means of an enthusiastic and personal approach. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Educational Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
