About Evan Aras

Throughout my experiences as a management consultant, Olympic Sailing Coach, and professional athlete, I continuously improve my skills as a detail-oriented & analytical problem-solver who’s able to prioritize information quickly and communicate under pressure. To found, grow, and manage a small business, I leverage my natural curiosity: learning new skills, conducting research outside my wheelhouse, and soliciting input from experts. I’m a team player who collaborates with stakeholders to improve decision-making while demonstrating my ability to work independently. Thanks to my campaign for the 2016 Olympics, I developed the grit and determination to overcome adversity and see projects through to completion. I am invested in the growth mindset of expanding organizations and am a self-starter. My goal-oriented approach means I wear many hats and juggle contending priorities, regardless of tasks being “my usual job”. I thrive in helping others pursue excellence by building long-term partnerships with clients which drives mutually beneficial success. I previously coached the Men's 49er Olympic Skiff Team of Thomas Barrows and Joe Morris throughout their qualification and ultimate competition in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Throughout most of 2015, I pursued my own campaign for the 2016 Olympics in the Nacra 17 mixed-gender catamaran. Prior to focusing on Olympic class sailing, I worked in the consulting industry, focusing on data analytics, e-discovery consulting, and process improvement. Evan previously worked across all segments at OmniVere to evaluate current business practices and to develop and implement organizational changes as the company grew rapidly and integrated new assets. Prior to joining the OmniVere team, I worked for Navigant Consulting's Legal Technology Solutions practice, specializing in data analytics related to financial investigations and matters in the energy sector. I hold a degree in Economics from Georgetown University.
