About Evan Brinnon

I am the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at Kenyon College. My position with a strong athletic and academic institution is a homecoming as an Ohio native, and I am excited to continue my journey as a sport communication professional back home with a great organization. Prior to starting with Kenyon, I completed a 2-year program at Upper Iowa University as a Sports Communication Graduate Assistant. While at UIU, I earned a master's degree in sports administration and gained invaluable work and life experience tat Iowa's only NCAA DII institution. I earned my undergraduate degree from Indiana University’s School of Public Health in December, 2019. I received a B.S. in Kinesiology as a Sport Marketing and Management major (General Business minor, Kelley School of Business) in the School of Public Health at the IU Bloomington, IN campus. In both my current and future positions, I would like to use my skills and knowledge in the field of sport communications and media relations to be a beneficial part of a sport organization or team. I am passionate about sport and would like to find a positions that allows me to grow both personally and professionally. I am open to building my network to connect with others as I continue my journey into the sport industry as a budding professional.
