Background

About Evan Brock

I am a recent graduate of Emory University with a degree in Environmental Science. I am particularly interested in how Environmental Science is communicated to the general public and to government, and how scientists can merge the factual realm of science with the creativity of science in order to tell truthful, interesting stories about real science, so as to confront anti-scientific rhetoric such as Climate Change Denial. To that regard, I am looking for positions relating to environmental law and compliance, so that I may communicate the value of the environment to those who may be having negative impacts on it. I have worked as an education intern for the London Field Studies Council, teaching children the value of the environment and the interesting species around them. As a senior at Emory, I served as teacher's assistant for Emory University's Environmental Science Communication Course, working closely with Dr. Anthony Martin to transition the course into the digital age due to the outbreak of Covid-19. I became a senior leader, completing all four years as a varsity swimmer onthe Emory University Swimming and Diving team that won the men's team first NCAA Division 3 Championship Title. I can be reached at 1-707-315-3195, at +44 7535 489113, or at the email address ecbrock661@gmail.com.
