Hello all,I am a fourth-year Commerce student (Majoring in Finance and Human Resources), Canadian Jumpstart hockey coach, and part-time insurance agent with five years of experience in client-facing environments. From this, I am comfortable and tactful with social interactions that require professionalism. At work I deal with most walk-ins, so I am often an client's first point-of-contact. My goal with every interaction is to keep communication concise, easy to follow, and friendly. Since the nature of insurance necessarily brings conflict, I make it clear that I'm on their team working towards a solution. My best work is when the client feels as though they are just having an everyday conversation, and are surprised when the work is done!
