About Evan Davis

With over seven years of experience in accounting and data analysis, I am passionate about developing and implementing fair and equitable pay structures for employees. I have a bachelor's degree in accounting from MidAmerica Nazarene University where I graduated with a 3.70 GPA. In my current role as Compensation Coordinator at Austin Independent School District, I work with a diverse and collaborative team to oversee and support the district's compensation program, which serves over staff members across 130 schools and departments. In my current role, I partner effectively with the Talent Strategy team, the Records staff, and the Executive Director of Compensation to ensure the proper tools, processes, and communication for the compensation program. I also manage complex projects, such as the year-end roll process, the salary schedule review, and financial cost estimation reports. Some of the skills that I use daily in my job are time management, accounting, teamwork, and customer service. I am always eager to learn new things, improve my performance, and contribute to the District's mission and vision.
