I am currently the Commercial Manager for Cape Gate Fence & Wire Works based in Cape Town, South Africa. My position involves the General Management of the company in areas of HR, Marketing, Logistics and Production. I have always been able to work well with customers by building honest and long-lasting relationships. My General Management experience since 2005 and extensive Senior Management experience (CEO) since 2008 equipped me with the necessary skills which will be an asset to any company. I enjoy implementing and driving the overall strategic goals as set out by the Board of Directors. Through my various management roles since 1997, I have gained an extensive range of management skills and operational experience. I have a great ability to work under pressure and thrive in solving problems as efficiently as possible. I believe that my experience will show me to be capable of effectively managing organisations using my initiative to come up with original ideas and being an asset to any company.I am a highly motivated and disciplined individual. I can work without supervision or as part of a team. I have always been good at analyzing problems and with my engineering studies and background it enhanced my ability to divide problems into its various aspects thereby identifying the real cause of the problem in order to solve it.Moving into Senior Management roles have further helped me to gain experience in the Financial and Operational field of companies. I found it very satisfying managing all aspects of a company from Sales and Marketing, HR, Finance, Production and Logistics. I enjoy working in the manufacturing environment as my engineering background together with my MBA and vast management experience make me an asset to such a company.Being a very active person, I enjoy the outdoors. Having a balanced work life is important as I believe this will give you the perspective you need when faced with serious challenges.
