About Evan Julber

I've worked in several industries in different capacities, starting with mining gold in Colorado, then advancing to refining, trading and lending on precious metals. Along the way, I used computer programming skills I learned in college (DEC-10 mini-computer; dating myself) to write custom precious metals and financial related software on the Apple IIe and then migrating to the DOS/Windows environment in the mid-1980s. In 1984, I began training to become a pilot and in 1985 realized my dream of being a pilot. In 1998 I upgraded my aviation skills by adding an instrument rating and upgrading my private pilots license to that of a commercial license, qualified for single-engine and multi-engine instrument flying. In 2002, I began flying in the corporate turbine environment in a Pilatus PC12. In 2015, I earned my Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license, and hold a Boeing 737 type rating. I flew the Boeing 737 for five years (Part 121) and now work for flyExclusive, a Part 135 charter operator, assigned to the Cessna Citation CJ3/3+(CE-525 type rating) as a Captain. As of February 2025, I have hours of flight experience in all conditions.
