With over 17 years of experience in the IT field, I am a seasoned systems support engineer with a passion for providing reliable, secure, and scalable solutions for customers. My core competencies include Active Directory, Azure, AWS, desktop virtualization, backup administration, and troubleshooting. I formerly worked at Red River, a leading provider of IT solutions and services, where I supported the design, deployment, and maintenance of complex and diverse systems for various customers. As a Systems Support Engineer at Red River, I have been involved in multiple projects that require the use of Active Directory, Azure, and desktop virtualization skills. For example, I created Active Directory OUs and user accounts, wrote and implemented Group Policy objects, performed troubleshooting and restoration of domain controllers, and managed the sync between on-prem AD and Azure using Azure AD Connect. I also managed the customer's Azure Virtual Desktop environment, including updating disk images and configuring auto-scaling. I used Azure audit logs to monitor and report on the performance and security of the environment. I also administered the MSP-provided backup solution as well as customer-owned backup systems, ensuring the availability and integrity of the data.
