About Evan McBride

Over a 23-year career, Evan McBride has built a strong foundation in private equity, restructuring transactions, and real estate development, managing over USD 1 billion in transactions within the Philippines during the past decade. Evan currently serves as the Managing Director of SofCap Partners, a growth equity firm focused on Philippine opportunities, and the Chief Executive Officer of Aeropark Development Philippines, Inc, a prominent real estate development company. Evan co-founded Global Gateway Development Corporation (GGDC) and held positions as a Board Member and Chief Investment Officer, contributing significantly to the real estate development sector. Before his tenure at GGDC, Evan held various positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at KGLI Asia. He also served as a Board Member and a member of the Management Committee at Negros Navigation Co, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors and Advisor to the Board of KGLI-NM Holdings, Inc. Prior to relocating to Asia, Evan worked in the Middle East as part of an investment management team, managing a pool of investments funded primarily by sovereign wealth institutions. In the USA, he spent six years as an Investment Banking advisor at Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Company. Evan holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Management, Summa Cum Laude, from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Active in professional development and industry engagement, Evan is a member of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), and the Manila Angels Investing Network (MAIN).
