About Evan Morgan

Do you hate it when you download a new app on your phone or install new software on your laptop only to find errors being thrown or worse, the application crashing. So do I! Looking back at the beginning of my career, that is one of the main reasons I got involved in software testing. I loved finding defects and trolling through the logs to isolate offending component. Fast forward to today, I've created a career out of my passion. I've managed geographically dispersed teams of testers working on large complex contact centre solutions. I've been involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from requirement gathering and prioritisation to General Availability. and everything else in between those two milestones (architecture reviews, sprint planning, regression testing, feature testing, performance, security, defect resolution and automation etc.) Outside of work, I love playing golf. even though I'm not very good at it! Another one of my passions is coaching juvenile athletics. There has been nothing more satisfying than seeing the athletes grow and improve year on year. Hopefully, one day I may see one of my athletes representing Ireland on the international stage.
