After spending several years working for one of the world’s leading surgical instrument manufacturers, I saw the need to establish a more customer-focused company and to provide quality products with attention to detail and service that the neurosurgical and operating room-based community demanded. I started Surgical West as an independent distributor focusing on products used in cranial and spinal surgery. In 2005, Surgical West added a general surgery division to encompass all surgical specialties including a significant emphasis in ophthamology. In 2019, Surgical West celebrated 30 years of service.
