About Evan Pickell

I am a data analytics consultant at Ankura in their Disputes & Economics, Competition & Class Action group. Using the R and SQL programming languages, I provide economic and statistical analyses to expert witnesses under the scope of corporate litigation, class action law suits, economic disputes, and financial investigations. I have assisted with analyses for various types of litigation, including fraud investigations, APPSN and overdraft fee litigation, healthcare disputes, wage and hour disputes, and PIQ/closed claims reviews. Prior to joining Ankura, I attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Statistics. At UCLA, I was the Executive Director of Production for the Pediatric AIDS Coalition (PAC) where I managed an organization of over 150 people and oversaw the work of 40 committee members. I was responsible for all media production, the acquisition of entertainment and corporate sponsorships, monetary donations, and in-kind contributions for PAC and various PAC events. I was also a captain and treasurer of the UCLA Snowteam, a competitive ski and snowboard racing team at UCLA. I led a team of 125 ski and snowboard racers, managed a team budget of over served as the liaison to UCLA Athletics, and organized travel and accommodation for USCSA SSW Conference races. I have excellent collaborative, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and time management skills and strive to utilize these skills along with my passions for business and the environment to make the world a better place.
