About Evan Rusoja

I am currently the Medical Director of Acute Care Health Outcomes and an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at Alameda Health System in Oakland. I previously received an MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a PhD in International Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Most recently, I completed my residency training in Emergency Medicine at Highland Hospital where I was a Chief Resident and subsequently the inaugural Quality and Safety Innovations Fellow. Since developing an interest in International Health, I have lived on five continents where I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from health systems strengthening to health technology implementation to disaster preparedness. Having held leadership position in a variety of international public, private, academic, and non-profit organizations, I am particularly excited about linking skills and resources across sectors to achieve better health.
