I just recently completed my Bachelor of Arts in Recording Arts and German Studies at Ball State University. Through Ball State's hands-on approach to teaching, I gained a thorough knowledge of the studio and its inner workings, both analog and digital. This was included, but not limited to: Signal paths, soldering knowledge, circuitry, multiple DAWs, mixing and mastering, and music business. I also took various courses with the business department, such as Management and Economics. Through the German program I gained a thorough knowledge of conversational and written German. I took phonetics, conversation, and literature courses. In my year abroad at the University of Dortmund, I took a course in Literature of the GDR, as well a course in cross-cultural analysis of Franz Kafka's works in with U.S. literary and cinematic culture, as well as various courses for my music studies. These included Recording Technology, as well as Music History and and Music Theory courses. By the end of the year, I had reached a near-native level of fluency.
