In my role as a Hot Melt Sales Engineer, I leverage my technical expertise, sales acumen, and networking skills to drive growth and innovation in the packaging industry. Over the course of my career, I have rebuilt market presence, improved sales performance, and cultivated strong relationships with leading corporations in food, packaging, and equipment distribution. Starting as a Sales Engineering Co-op, I gained hands-on experience with packaging equipment installation, operation, and customer support, while honing my ability to prospect and secure business opportunities. Progressing through roles in territory sales and as a Hot Melt Hand Gluing Specialist, I achieved milestones such as doubling system sales in just three months and securing high-value corporate contracts. Transitioning to my current role as a Manufacturing Engineer, I focus on optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency and quality. I work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and refine manufacturing operations, develop fixtures for enhanced precision, and collaborate with the quality department to maintain high standards. My emphasis on continuous improvement drives innovation and supports Valco Melton's leadership in adhesive dispensing solutions. Before joining Valco Melton, I built a solid foundation in manufacturing and mechanical engineering through three co-op rotations at General Tool Company, where I worked on aerospace and military projects, and one rotation at Welding Alloys USA. I am certified in NX 12 and proficient in 3D modeling software like SolidWorks, with additional expertise in robotics and automation earned during my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati. I am passionate about solving challenges, fostering teamwork, and taking on leadership roles to make a meaningful impact.
