About Evan Steedley

I've been on computers constantly since I was young. From my first desktop onward, I hand-picked every part and built the system from scratch. My interest in Computer Science started in my last year of High School, where I took an AP CS class. It was tough, but I passed the class and learned the basics - though I didn't meet the minimum score on the AP Exam for it to count for college credits. Instead of being discouraged from the subject, I took this as a challenge, and maintained a 3.88 GPA through the rest of my college experience. My favorite subject was Machine Learning, because it wasn't just theory - we got to actually build working, useful projects. I learned Java, then C#, C, Python, and a bit of several other languages. Although video games weren't a huge part of my degree, I have always been passionate about them. So, when my final class allowed our teams to do "anything" for a project, that is what we chose. I think it turned out fairly well, considering we were all CS majors and not artists. C# is my favorite coding language, mostly because it's the language most-used in Unity, a game development engine. Specialties: Languages: Java, C#, Python, and C
