Evan Thomas is an experienced finance leader with over 15 years of progressive experience, including seven years in leadership roles; currently VP, Finance at Databook, an AI-based SaaS and sales intelligence engine. He is recognized for his ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, drive operational efficiency, and contribute strategically to organizational success. With a strategic mindset and comprehensive expertise, Evan excels in leading all financial functions, including FP & A, accounting, and legal. His core competencies include GoToMarket finance, legal, treasury, investor and board relations, executive bonus and compensation plans, annual budgeting, long-term planning, revenue forecasting, cross-functional business collaboration, M&A, software and capital spending, operating expenses, financial modeling, and P&L management. Notably, Evan orchestrated the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning at both K2 Nintex and Avalara, driving substantial increases in productivity for FP & A and other groups. His experience also includes roles at Spear in Scottsdale, AZ, where he managed a combined FP & A and Sales Ops team, and at in Phoenix, AZ, where he served as a Senior Analyst in FP & A, contributing to revenue optimization and strategic course corrections. Evan holds a Master of Business Administration in Global Finance with Honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, AZ.
