About Evan Youssefi

Evan Youssefi is a Sophomore at the University of Delaware, pursuing a major in Finance and a minor in Political Science in the Lerner College of Business and Economics. He is graduating in May of 2027 with a Dual Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Finance. Since last year, he has had the incredible opportunity to be a member of the Blue Hen Investment Club, where he currently serves as the Consumer Discretionary Sector Head and leads his team of 7 analysts in overseeing $550K in AUM. The Investment Club promotes superior financial, economic, and accounting experience, allowing students to actively manage $5M of the University of Delaware’s endowment fund. In addition to the Investment Club, Evan is a proud member of the Blue Hen Economics Club, where he constructs learning materials and in-depth review sessions to best prepare undergraduate students for microeconomic and macroeconomic midterms and finals. And, prior to joining the Blue Hen Investment Club, Evan dutifully served as Senator for the Lerner Business College with the UD Student Government Association, actively petitioning University administration for appropriate funding and diligently advocating for the needs of thousands of students in the Lerner Business College. Since joining the University of Delaware in August of 2023, Evan finished his first year at UD with a superb 4.0/4.0 GPA and still maintains a near-perfect 3.95 Grade Point Average, awarding him Dean’s List all semesters. In respect to his outstanding academic performances, Evan is a humble recipient of the Destination Delaware Scholarship, which awards a year to high-performing, out-of-state undergraduate students at the University of Delaware. Lastly, Evan is a passionate investor and avid researcher. Operating individual, customized portfolios for several clients across Long Island, he single-handedly manages thousands in AUM, personalizing each portfolio based on each client’s risk tolerance, investment horizon, and level of liquidity. Since beginning in January of 2023, Evan has produced an annualized return on equity of 29% for his clients, outperforming the S&P 500 over the same timeframe. These experiences, combined with his incredible proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, FactSet, Python, and SQL, have provided Evan with the opportunity to be a mentor and leader, execute efficient time management, and extend his knowledge beyond the walls of the classroom.
