Background
About Evangeline Soans
Hi there, and thanks for visiting my profile!I’m a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst with a background in computer science engineering and an MBA in finance. I enjoy working with numbers, improving processes, and turning data into insights that support better business decisions.Currently at CIBC Mellon, I focus on financial reporting with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Before moving to Canada, I worked with ANZ and IBM, supporting global teams — primarily in Australia and New Zealand — and leading process improvements that helped reduce costs and enhance reporting efficiency.I value clarity, consistency, and collaboration, and over the years, I’ve learned to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. I’m always open to connecting with professionals in finance, tech, or data, and exploring new opportunities where I can continue to grow and make an impact.
