I'm a content writer who uses curiosity and creativity to help business owners, entrepreneurs, professional leaders, and nonprofit organizations find and craft engaging stories about who they are and what they do. My strategic thinking brings value-added contributions to various types of short and long-form writing projects. I am successful when working independently yet thrive on conversation, interviews, and sharing ideas with others on a project or team. My diverse experience in nonprofits, associations, and higher education, has taught me to be resourceful, adaptable, and attentive to nuances and details. Some have described my background as “eclectic.” I believe that makes me stand out. I can find something interesting or a point(s) in common with a variety of people in just about any industry or niche, and if I don’t know about a subject, I’ll learn it! From an early age I’ve been curious about other cultures and I’ve learned to listen to the ways in which different people from various backgrounds and industries communicate. I’ve worked with professionals in different fields including public housing, academia, interior design, developmental disabilities, industrial management, and small business. I’ve traveled to lots of places, learned other languages, and adopted a child from another country. Each new experience inspires me to write content that helps people share what they know for audiences that want to know more.
