First Class Honours student of Applied Language and Translation Studies at DCU, enthusiastic about leveraging technology to enhance human expertise. My passion lies at the intersection of languages, marketing, and technology, a focus I'm currently exploring in my undergraduate dissertation: A Comparative Analysis of TikTok and YouTube’s Auto-Translated Captions on Video Marketing Content. Over the past three years at DCU, I've honed a robust skillset including both linguistic proficiency and specialised translation expertise: CEFR Level C1 in French and Spanish Experience in specialised translation domains, including business, economic/financial, marketing, and multimedia translation Proficiency in a range of translation technologies, including SDL Trados Studio, Phrase, memoQ, as well as audiovisual translation tools for subtitling and audio-description. I have a proven ability to take initiative and drive results, as demonstrated by founding and managing my own freelance marketing and language service business, Spiritus Mundi Solutions, where I have gained valuable experience in business development and client management. I also have extensive sales and marketing experience across multiple business sectors, including two marketing roles in Irish EdTech startups and an internship on the EMEA YouTube Ads team at Google. In each and every professional role I have held, I have exceeded expectations by leveraging my exceptional tenacity and creativity to drive business success. I am dedicated to continuous growth and development, as evidenced by not only my educational resume, which includes 4 semesters of study at an acclaimed Ivy League University, a Professional Diploma from the Digital Marketing Institute, and an expected First Class Honours Degree from DCU, but also by the multitude of online courses I have taken to expand my skill set in everything from sales management to prompt engineering. Outside my professional pursuits, creativity is also a central theme. I am an award-winning poet and performer and have been a student of Speech & Drama for almost 20 years. I have recently qualified as an Associate Teacher of the Irish Board of Speech and Drama and sit as a member of the Speech & Drama Teachers of Ireland.
