There is more than one wisdom, and all are necessary in the world, it is not bad that they alternate. I feel very humble to have the opportunity to interact with them on a daily basis; they have been a true source of inspiration for me. This quote from one of the Faculty for the Future Fellows in particular inspired me:"There are few opportunities in life that are so valuable, they can change a person and the world. I define my experience in the doctoral program of Stanford University, funded by a grant from the Schlumberger Foundation, as truly life‐changing. During this program, I had the opportunity of learning technical skills in education that will be extremely important in my professional career. However, the life‐changing experience was not only related with the specific knowledge. It was mostly generated by the interactions and the opportunities to live and learn in a vibrant educational community. Through these interactions I was able to deepen my skills and become a rigorous academic, with the skills to do research, and the abilities to communicate and share that research with the general public. Moreover, I learned about the importance of being an academic woman that can contribute in the transformation of a society through education, assessment, and evaluation."
