I am a mechanical engineer with 16 years of expertise in leadership, project management, design, manufacturing, and lean process optimization. At Megatraction, I lead a small, rapidly expanding company that sets the standard for lifting technology in the mining industry. The demands of scaling operations while staying at the cutting edge of innovation make this role both challenging and deeply rewarding, as we continuously push technological boundaries and deliver unmatched solutions. As an Engineering Manager at SimuTech Group, I led the technical operations of the Montreal office, including consulting services, training, and customer support. I excel in building sustainable business relationships, exemplified by my success in resolving a major project in crisis through a fair and strategic action plan that benefited both parties. My experience in designing hydraulic turbines exposed me to various disciplines in mechanical engineering, including stress analysis, fluid mechanics, fatigue and fracture mechanics, GD & T, steel casting, machining, and welding. I oversaw the full lifecycle of turbine design projects, from contract analysis and engineering planning to team management and procurement oversight. Driven by a passion for tackling complex, large-scale challenges, I was selected by Alstom to lead the implementation of Lean Engineering practices, enhancing the efficiency of the engineering department.
