About Everardo Roque

Student of Physical Therapy at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamt of being a health professional. I remember there was a moment early on in my college education where I was reflecting on how I had gotten to where I was standing and it occurred to me that I had always been one to take life one step at a time, work through obstacles and persevere. In that moment it clicked. The combination of my love for exercise and my mindset of continual improvement lead me to believe that physical therapy was the occupation for me. I believe that the ability to move is one of the greatest blessings in life that we take for granted. I’ve experienced injuries that have limited my ability to move and it’s one of the most disheartening feelings. Thankfully, I’ll be able to start my journey to becoming a physical therapist in May 2023 at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.
