About Everett Feeney

Having grown up with two banker parents, my interest in all things “personal finance” presented at an early age. I took my passion for helping people with their personal finances into a Bachelor of Business Degree program at VIU, where I spent four years immersed in Financial Planning and Marketing courses. Combined with part-time employment as a Teller at TD, my education and work experience complemented each other wonderfully to allow me to enter the workforce full-time following graduation. And that’s exactly what I did - for a while. I accepted a Financial Advisor role in Victoria BC, where my day was spent in appointments to support my clients with Home Financing, Investing, saving for their retirement and childrens’ education - and sometimes, just listening to their fears about the economy. I wondered if this was the right career choice for me, so I stepped away from the banking industry for a year. I travelled, worked at a prestigious wilderness resort, and spent lots of time with loved ones while I considered my career as a personal finance professional. During my year away, I yearned to help people again, but knew I wanted to do so in a more specialized role. As I enter the banking industry again as a Mobile Mortgage Specialist, the services I offer have been adjusted.
