About Everett Jones

I believe service is what prayer looks like when it gets up off its knees and walks around in the world. My journey into nonprofit leadership began with a simple truth: people don’t just need help — they need hope, dignity, and someone who sees them. That belief has shaped every step of my career, from walking alongside individuals battling homelessness and addiction, to helping families rebuild after crisis. As Executive Director of Northland Rescue Mission, I lead a Christ-centered organization that transforms lives through emergency shelter, food assistance, job readiness, recovery support, and spiritual care. I’m proud to say we’ve grown community partnerships, increased donor investment, and expanded outreach during a time when need is rising and resources are tight. Through intentional fundraising efforts and authentic storytelling, I’ve helped secure vital funding that allows us to serve thousands of meals, provide hundreds of beds, and offer second chances every single day. In addition to my work at the Mission, I speak regularly to churches, service organizations, civic clubs, and community leaders — sharing stories of resilience, the realities of poverty, and how faith can fuel real-world change.
