About Everett Mitchel

I am the Ozanam Center Program Manager at The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Cincinnati, where I oversee and implement various initiatives to serve the poor and homeless in the community. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, and I have a passion for improving the health and well-being of vulnerable populations. My core competencies include project development, management, and evaluation, as well as biology, laboratory skills, and laboratory safety. Prior to my current role, I was a Coordinator of Children's Faith Formation at Eastside Family of Parishes, where I coordinated and facilitated a monthly Family of Faith program for families and their children. I also managed all sacramental paperwork and events for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. Additionally, I was a Science Teacher at Holy Spirit Catholic School, where I taught 9th Grade Honors Biology, 10th Grade Regular/Honors Chemistry, and 10th Grade Theology: Sacred Scripture. Through these experiences, I developed and delivered original and engaging lesson plans and materials, based on state standards and online textbooks. I also demonstrated my ability to work with diverse groups of students, parents, volunteers, and staff, and to foster a positive and supportive learning environment. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to support the mission and vision of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and to contribute to the team's efforts to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
