About Evert de Munnik
I've started at the SABC in 1983 as a studio sound engineer and went freelance in 1998. In 2002 started my own mixing and mastering studio. Since 2011 I also started as a lecturer at ASE. In 1989 I also started to do FOH mixing and did mixing for a lot of South African Rock bands in the 90's. Currently I'm touring with 2 of SA's biggest acts namely Mango Groove and Joyous Celebration. I love recording and mixing Jazz and Classical music. The last few years I was involved in the International Jazz Festival in Grahamstown and also mix FOH for Joy of Jazz in Johannesburg for the last 4 years. I've mastered some songs on Wouter Kellermann's (Grammy winner 2015) debut cd.
