About Evie Harrison

I have 8 years’ experience within the physical activity sector, operating at a variety of levels and roles from Project Co-ordinator to Insight & Comms Officer for Sport Birmingham the city’s Active partnership to most recently Senior Insight Analyst at the Active Wellbeing Society. This blend of experience means I understand how complex Birmingham is as a city when it comes to delivering sport and physical activity to all of its residents. I'm experienced in working with a range of partners both local and national, comfortable with managing projects, budgets and data. I also have experience of working on the delivery side as both a tennis and cricket coach; demonstrating excellent communication skills in delivery and working with coaches. This means I have a great understanding of how entire programs are designed, delivered and how we make the user experience the best it can be. In 2019 I participated in the Uprising leadership program which aims to reshape & encourage more young people to go for leadership roles. I'm particularly passionate about women's sport and how we make it as inclusive as possible as highlighted by a podcast I created ‘SheSport’ which delves into womens' journeys with physical activity.
