About Evony Tsang

Since 2016, Evony has been actively engaged in local social services and education, promoting social innovation development in Hong Kong by uniting the strengths of government, business, social, civic, and academic sectors. Through her experiences in social entrepreneurship education, project management, and collaboration within the education sector, She has worked alongside diverse stakeholders to establish a collaborative platform for social entrepreneurship education, achieving systematic changes in local education. In her early twenties, she had already mentored over 20 social entrepreneurs, helping them secure more than HK$3M in funding to create innovative projects that address social issues. She served as a mentor for intermediaries under the SIE Fund, training and leading young social entrepreneurs to successfully venture into areas such as AI, revitalizing local fisheries, youth development, and sustainable development. She also holds a certificate in social enterprise management and is familiar with systematically implementing social innovation in the education field. Currently, she oversees over 80 social enterprises/social innovative projects and 390+ pri and sec schools, organizing, designing, and coordinating hundreds of social entrepreneurship education activities each year for local schools, including social entrepreneurship courses/programs, educational training, and experiential workshops, reaching thousands of young people annually. Over the past 3 years, she has been responsible for designing and organizing a Body of Knowledge for youth social entrepreneurship, launched several social entrepreneurship teaching materials that have been implemented in 20+ sec schools and 10+ pri schools. Additionally, she holds a certification as a 2030 SDGs Game Facilitator, injecting a diverse range of learning experiences into social innovation education. Evony has also assisted senior management and frontline social workers in NGOs and charitable institutions, such as TSA and the HKSKH LMC, with strategic vision training covering topics like hoshin plan, social impact measurement, and strategic planning. In 2023, she was selected as a top 3 finalist for the “Spirit of Youth Award” at “The 11th Spirit of Hong Kong”, presented by the SCMP and Sino Group. In 2024, she received the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs' Commendation Scheme Award in the Youth Category. In 2025, she was also awarded the Young Achiever Award by the Education 2.0 Conference, marking a significant milestone in her journey in social entrepreneurship and education.
