About Evren Uras

I’m an AI Strategist at PwC, working for and directly with Chief AI Officer Dan Priest on transformative initiatives that are reshaping our AI consulting services and driving firm-wide digital transformation. Simultaneously, I serve as the Founder and CEO of appeAR by AReality Solutions—a startup aimed at revolutionizing ad‑tech and loyalty management with AR, where I oversaw the POC mobile development from end-to-end. Previously, I served as a Commercial Technology Strategist at PwC, overseeing a technology portfolio and spearheading Generative AI initiatives to boost operational efficiency and strategic impact. My professional journey also includes hands-on experience with blockchain technology; while working with Real Items Company, I drafted an innovative white paper on “phygitals” and explored blockchain-based solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency. At Bowdoin College, I earned a double major in Digital Computational Studies and Government & Legal Studies (GPA 3.8). As a research fellow with the Surdna Foundation and the Grua/O’Connell program, I investigated how AR/VR can redefine our perceptions of time, space, and value. My research further delved into the politics and market dynamics of big tech, surveillance, and data sovereignty—insights I had the honor of presenting at the 18th International Conference on Technology, Knowledge & Society in Taiwan. Deeply passionate about AI, AR, VR, and the future of computing, I’m committed to changing the way we interact with technology—and with each other—by turning groundbreaking ideas into reality.
